A near-opaque, dense ruby red.
An emphatic, incisive nose immediately conveys the wine’s distinctive
personality. Notes of red fruit (plum and cherry) and black (cassis) predominate, lifted by a smooth impression of spice and a crisp hint of
black liquorice.
On the palate its lively acidity offers perfect support to a superb structure. Its full, generous body is the fruit of a warm, expansive alcohol and
an impressive suite of dense-packed tannins. The aromatic impressions
of the nose are once again encountered, and the delicious finish offers
an intriguing hint of cherrystones.
