Siamo stati tra i primi a credere in questo vitigno, che rischiava di scomparire. Nasce così il nostro Serre, ottenuto da uve Susumaniello, il cui nome significa "carico come un somarello", in quanto in età giovanile e' carico di frutta. Di colore rosso rubino, al naso esprime sentori di frutti rossi anche in confettura, e chiusura di grafite. Al palato è deciso, in splendido equilibrio. 
      
      The grapes are picked by hand and then macerated in rotating horizontal tanks before maturation in French oak barriques for 6 months. A deep ruby red in colour with blue depths; on the nose the red fruits dominate with jam and notes of graphite pencil to finish. On the palate, it shows a splendid balance between ripe fruit and minerality. A long evolving finish. 
      Susumaniello is particularly rich in anthocyanins (antioxidants) famous for their numerous health benefits. The name of the grape means “laden like a donkey“ as it is very heavily loaded with fruit when young.
