AZ. LA REGOLA

The Podere la Regola winery, is located on the Tuscany Coast, just 4 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea in the valley of the Cecina River, north of Bolgheri, in the municipality of Riparbella.
The Company was founded in 1990 and is run by the brothers Luca and Flavio Nuti.
In the current 25 hectares of vineyards, since 2015 Biological certificates, are produced grepes based mainly on Merlot and Cabernet, for reds, Viogner, Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc for whites, not forgetting the native vines of Sangiovese and Vermentino. It also produces a passito from Trebbiano, Malvasia and Colombana grapes and a classic Brut method, entirely made on the farm, of at least 36 months on yeasts based mainly on Manseng .
The new winery ,of about 2000 square meters, opened on October 15, 2016, represents a true synthesis of concepts such as the Territory, Nature, Men and Art. In fact, the painter Stefano Tonelli has inserted artistic elements inside the cellar and has entirely frescoed the barrels room with drawings , recalling the Etruscans people, who lived in this place VII sec B.C., and the cosmos.
The winery, nestled in an important archaeological area and in a protected environment in which there are more than 200 cork oak plants, expresses the constant balance between landscape and production that for this reason has received a special award in the international competition "the factory in the landscape" organized by the Italian Federation of UNESCO Centers and Clubs and the certification of "green company" by the Italian Touring Club.
