Azienda Agricola Trabucchi d'Illasi

There is an ancient history, a tradition that links the Trabucchi family of Illasi to the cultivation of vineyards, love for nature, and dedication to others. Illasi is located among the lands of Valpolicella, in the oldest wine-growing area in Italy, east of Verona. It is in this unique terroir that the Trabucchi family has been growing traditional grapes since 1924, in a natural way, with certified ORGANIC agriculture for over 20 years. 22 hectares of vineyards and 6 of olive groves, which extend to the top of the hill, at an average altitude of 200 m. above sea level.

The activity is followed directly by the Trabucchi family with the collaboration of the oenologist Franco Bernabei. The young Aristide, grandson of Messrs. Trabucchi follows every step of the work in the cellar in the foreground and with passion; Mrs. Raffaella, the Professor's wife, will take care of you during the visit, opening the doors of the house with kindness and cordiality.
The visits, in the countryside among the vineyards of Valpolicella and in the cellar of 2000 square meters carved out of the rock, will be followed by a tasting of our wines, including the prized Amarone della Valpolicella. The wines will also be paired with a selection of cheeses, local cold cuts and extra virgin olive oil.
