„Life is too short to drink bad wine.“

PhilosophieI feel the joy of living when I’ve finished my daily work with my wine. I feel the joy of living when lots of people come to our estate with compliments and fill it with life. Living in a landscape which is green and still clean. Food that I need to live I can, to a large extent, produce myself and appreciate its worth. It gives me great pleasure to sit, with a glass of good wine, on the bench at the back of the house, with the sheep and the chickens and look out over what has been built up here.

I don’t want to make a religion out of wine drinking. It is not as complicated as many professional journalists and would be critics make out. You, and you alone as customer, should be the only judge which music you like, what you like to eat and, therefore, which wine you enjoy drinking.

Every year nature presents us with new challenges for the new vintage and requires all our knowledge and experience to bring out the best possible results. We are not always 100% happy with the results, but it is our ambition and passion to achieve this 100%. The success is showing us that we are on the right track.
