Tenuta Arabona

Tenuta Arabona is a family run organic winery founded by Maria Antonietta and Domenico. We are located in Manoppello, in the Province of Pescara, in Abruzzo. Our estate is situated at the foot of the Majella massif and adjiacent to the Natural National Park.

Even if the winery was founded in 2006, its origins date back a long time ago. Domenico’s parents, passionate winemakers, created a farm during the ’60s. Since the 80’s Domenico started to dedicate himself to the company, increasing it by size and starting a slow and deep restructuring. In 1991 the company get a very important result: the assignment of the organic farming certification.

Today our estate includes about 20 hectares of vineyard and 1,5 hectars of olive groves. We mainly cultivate Abruzzo’s typical vines, such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina.

Our winery is equipped with the latest technologies for winemaking, yet rooted in ancient traditions, in order to maintain the authentic, natural flavours of the grapes. Our goal is to offer to our costumers a unique and original wine, rich in tasteful aromas of our territory.

Besides still and sparkling organic wines, in Tenuta Arabona we produce some typical products of Abruzzo, such as cooked wine, cooked must, jams and juice, keeping the local traditions alive.
