Winegrower The Reuter-Dusemund family have been making wine in Brauneberg since 1624. Brauneberg is a small village with about 1000 residents and is situated between sunny hills on the banks of the river Mosel, providing the perfect climatic conditions for the growing of Riesling grapes. The nearest sizeable town is Bernkastel-Kues. In the Winery Reuter-Dusemund two generations work together; the older generation Theresia and Hermann Reuter and the younger generation, Jürgen Dusemund and Astrid Reuter-Dusemund. Jürgen successfully passed his apprenticeship at the winery Freiherr von Schorlemer and went on to obtain his State Degree as an economist for wine, after which he started to manage the Reuter-Dusemund winery.
