Description

The wine has an intense purple red, with light violet reflections. The nose is intoxicated by spicy notes given by the vines and the passage in wood, alongside marked hints of red fruit. In the mouth it expresses all its power and complexity, which over time varies from ripe fruit to notes of roasting and vanilla, all balanced by a vigorous tannin.
Hand-picked, the three masses of grapes (50%Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet, 20% Syrah) are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks and then aged 12 months in French barriques and at least 12 months in bottle.
