Our ALBUGNANO SUPERIORE is made of 100% Nebbiolo and the grapes are selected meticulously among the best produced on the estate.
It matures for 24 months in large French oak barrels (25 hectolitres) and at least another 12 months in the bottle before being released for sale.
VINEYARD: 350-480 metres above sea level - south/south-westerly exposure
GRAPE HARVEST: by hand into crates
VINIFICA.TION: maceration on skins for 18/20 days, being pumped over
several times every day. The must is then allowed to drain naturally without pressing and transferred into temperature-controlled
steel tanks where alcoholic and malo-lactic fermentation take place.
COLOUR: ruby red with gamet highlights
PERFUME: intense with scents of strawberry and rose
SUGGESTED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °c
PAIRINGS: well-structured rice and pasta dishes, roast meat and game.
