Description

A percentage of about 10% of Barbera is then added to this wine, as the Disciplinary Rules allow. The product is then matured for several months in Slavonian oak casks of small capacity. Then it is transferred for more than 6 months in French oaks barriques, properly toasted, that have been already used once for the maturation of other similar wines. Finally, the maturation process is completed in stainless steel containers. With this long process, a superb wine is obtained, of intense ruby-red colour tending to garnet. The full body is perfectly balanced with a superb structure and is featured by a scent of roses and violets, with a very long, pleasant and harmonious after taste
