Description

Vieilles Vignes. The first nose is spice, centring around vanilla and pepper. Then come aromas of well-ripened fruit, including prune, alongside a lot of freshness. To nose gets ever more complex as the wine is aerated and warms. The mouthfeel is powerful, silky and the epitome of finesse. The palpable tannins are already beautifully mellow. The foundation flavours are of black fruit (blackberry, prune) with chocolatey and menthol notes too. Lovely structure.  The finish is quite long with a supple and rounded feel.
