Description

Hoopoe slenders in the glass with a pomegranate shine and blackberry red depth. Top notes are intriguing with hint of fresh mint-leaves and sage and followed by spicy middle notes that reveal cinnamon, clove, anis, cardamom and citrus. On the pallet it is full of red fruit hinting cherry sauce, cedar, currant and black currant. A scent of newly distilled grappa, and the warmth of wood shows on the aftertaste. Medium body, mellow on the mid palate, tannins laying softly on the chin, and an acidity well integrated. Serve in a Burgundy glass and rather a degree to cold than too hot.
