We only produce 3000 bottles per year of this wine. Volume 50cl. This wine is the story of Valpolicella!
TIME OF THE HARVEST: from the end of September to mid-October when the grapes have reached an optimal state of ripeness and are ready to be hand-picked.
VINIFICATION: our Recioto is exclusively produced from our own rigorously selected grapes. It follows a drying process of 3-4 months after which the grapes are pressed and placed in fermentation. Finally the wine is refined in oak barrel for 3 years at least.
TYPE OF SOIL
Chalky, clay-like and well-drained.
FLAVOURS: Very intense bouquet that rangers from black cherries and berries with hints of cinnamon to other spicy notes.
TASTE: Warm velvety and sweet. The structure in massive and full-bodies with a long and balanced finish.
BEST SERVED WITH: Special Occasions, with dark chocolate or dry cake perfect with mature cheese at the end of your meat as a meditation wine!
