The grapes for our Langhe Rosso come from Vezza d’Alba and Castagnito.
Manual harvest. Destemming and crushing with soft pressing. Fermentation on skins with daily must pumping. 24-month min. ageing 30% in barriques and 70% in large oak barrels and 6-month min. ageing in bottles.
Leoparòdi Langhe Rosso has a garnet-red colour.
With the nose you can smell flowery bouquet and red forest fruit. You can also feel violet, humus and spicy notes.
To the taste you can feel it warm and balanced with tannins to convey softness.
