From just a few very old vines of Barbera, then blended with a little addition of Dolcetto, we obtain Cadò. This two grape varieties are in fact the perfect balance of each other, both of them are really fruity but Barbera gives more freshness while Dolcetto harmonize the whole with its tannin.
The colour is an intense dark ruby red. The wine is polished, with a characteristic fragrance of little fruits and delicate sensations of sweet spices on the nose.
It is fresh, rich in mouth, with a very persistent final and it is only produced in the best years.
It's a long-lived wine that gets better after few years in the bottle.
Perfect combination with red meat and game meat, also with chocolate.
