Ageing: aged 9 months in 225 liters barrels. A good year is aged on average 10 years
Color: intense ruby red wine, with garnet red reflections
Bouquet: al naso risulta intenso, pulito, fine, con note di frutta matura, sciroppata e speziate di legno, vaniglia, liquirizia; note terziarie lievi, tipo cacao e cuoio, fumé del legno/intense, clean, fine, notes of ripe fruit, canned fruit; spicy note of wood, vanilla, locorice rolls; light tertiary aroma, like cocoa and leather, smokiness of the wood
Taste: good body, quite warm, soft aroma, harmonious flavour, slightly sapid, good length
Serving temperature: 18°C
Food pairing: boiled or braised meets are suggested, but also cold cuts, as seasoned salami, and moderatly aged cheese
