Martín Códax Vindel was born on the centenary of the discover of Vindel Parchment, the unique manuscript that keeps the secret of the original lyrics and music of the songs of the troubadour Martín Códax.
The grapes of the plot called Agro de Tremoedo reach a special pink colour that will bring a unique aromatic complexity. A cold maceration allows to extract fully those aromas as well as a higher density ant the velvety character of the wine.
Martín Códax Vindel arises from an extreme vinegrowing, aimed at searching vines of low vigour, very porous and with a high leaf surface which cause low yield and unique qualities in those pink grapes.
High aromatic intensity with citrus grapefruit notes, apricots and iced orage. Aromatic herbs, spices, vegetal notes as well as bakery and white cholocate notes. Wine, round and silky on the palate. Well-integrated acidity with a fresh retronasal. Good aging potential.
