To understand the idea behind our Riesling Auslese, it is a good way to explain it like that: We started to create our very first wine in 2018. We wanted to have an elegant wine, but also with a strong individuality. The first smell, the first sip has to create a WOW-effect. Most important for that is the harmonized balance of sweetness and a light tartaric acid. But also minerality and fruitness like a hint of apricot matching pretty well. The aging in a 1200l oak barrel brings the smoothness to the wine, but also does not dominate the whole taste.
