Description

The Greco di Tufo Miniere is a wine with a very particular flavour as it comes from a unique terroir. The vineyards were planted on the hills above an ancient sulfur mine which was discovered in Tufo in the early 17th century. The characteristic terroir of this area is mainly composed of pure sulfur, chalk, clay and limestone. This composition means that this Greek has a unique and unmistakable flavour in the panorama of the denomination. The non-use of selected yeasts implies that in every vintage, this wine can express what has been the climatic trend and every single peculiarity that has characterized it.
