Nebbiolo d'Alba

Description
The grapes for our Nebbiolo d'Alba come from Vezza d’Alba and Castagnito.
Manual harvest. Destemming and crushing with soft pressing. Controlled temperature fermentation on skins, with daily must pumping, in stainless steel tank. 24-month min. ageing, 30% in barriques and 70% in large oak barrels and 6-month min. ageing in bottles.

Leoparòdi Nebbiolo d'Alba has a garnet-red colour.
With the nose you can smell flowery bouquet and red forest fruit. Old rose, violet, raspberry and liquorice are clearly perceivable, as well as balsamic and mineral notes.
To the taste you can feel it warm and balanced with tannins to convey softness.
