From the name of the place of the oldest vineyards is a red wine that expresses well the strength of the terroir. Pian del Pino is born from the selection of the best Sangiovese bunches and represents the most authentic expression of the grape- terroir combination exalted in the union with the Colorino del Valdarno. Elegant and complex, with marked terroir notes, it is a wine of great personality that expresses the most sincere identity of the territory.The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of October after a very light crushing, they are placed in old brick barrels, fermentation takes place on their own yeasts and tannins, then for 24 months the wine rests in wood.
Tasting Notes: Pian del Pino is a red wine of marked elegance, with a full, harmonious flavour and marked tertiary notes, a faithful companion for aged meats and cheeses.
