Old vines grown on slate covered slopes, with a southern exposure. The first part of the summer was especially rainy, with the weather turning hot and dry from late July onward. An extremely warm September allowed for a good harvest.
Pale straw in color. Minerality dominates on the nose, with notes of lemon zest and undertones of ripe green apple. On the palate, flavors of light citrus are underpinned by a racy acidity. The wine has a long finish.
Great for drinking with light proteins such as chicken, fish or pork, especially when paired with creamy sauces or classic reductions. Great complement to brie, camembert and other soft cheeses.
