My name is Rio and I am named after the stream that flows along my vineyards. I am a Rosso Piceno, wine of ancient origins and long tradition, which is documented since the pre-Roman population of Piceni. My grapes are 50% Montepulciano and 50% Sangiovese, two noble grape varieties historically grown in the Marche Region; I am a harmonious combination between the character of Montepulciano and the elegance of Sangiovese. I have a wine with great balance and good drinkability. I distinguish for my ruby color with violet reflections; by smell floral and fruity notes can be perceived. My taste is soft, round and persistent. My winemaking process: fermentation in stainless steel tanks with pre-fermentative cold maceration and subsequent fermentation at controlled temperature of 26-28 ° with pumping-over technique.
Maturation in stainless steel tanks, aging in bottles for 2 months.
