A wine inspired by the desire to make the most of the flavours
of the past and the traditions that have always been part of this
region. The desire was brought to fruition by the redevelopment
of a plot of half a hectare with native Tuscan vines such as
malvasia nera, colorino and canaiolo. Finally, after 5 years’
preparation, the first RITORNO has been produced.
It represents a perfect synergy of past and future, the age-old
history of Tuscan vines with modern production methods. It has
an aroma of red fruit, with excellent freshness and drinkability.
The vines face South-East at 350 metres above sea level, and
the land is a combination of clay and schist
GRAPE: canaiolo 40%,malvasia nera 40% e colorino 20%.
PRUNING METHOD: Guyot.
VINIFICATION: 20 days’ maceration.
FERMENTATION: for 6 months in 25-hectolitre stainless steel
AGING: 12 months in the bottle.
