Vintage: The year 2020 had significantly more rainfall than the previous two years. The nights were cooler, but the late summer became extremely sunny, hot and dry and brought an enormous maturity.

Vines: 1/3 Spätburgunder 26 year old vines, 2/3 Portugieser 32 year old vines.

Region: Loess, chalk red sand stone soil

Viticulture: The Spätburgunder grapes were harvested for our Reserve Spätburgunder and bring ripeness and colour for this Rosé. The Portuguese was harvested a little earlier and pressed directly.

Description: An absolute fruit explosion! Raspberry, strawberry and a bit of cherry! Super fruity and fresh!

Menu suggestion: Perfect for toasting or even for salad with small sun-ripened sweet tomatoes
