Grape variety: gaglioppo 70 % , magliocco 30%.
Type of soil: fertile soil tending to sands.
Yeld per hectare: 12 - 13 t/ha (tons).
Production area: Calabria - Crotone’s ionic coast.
Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented at a controlled temperature with a pause of about 6 hours on the skins.
It follows the bottling in the early montsh of the year after harvesting.
Organoleptic analysis of wine
Colour: pinkish colour, as the setting sun.
Odor profile: fresh and red fruits.
Flavor: sweet aftertaste, fresh and mineral.
Fish soups, shellfish, sea food and fresh cheese.
