It’s a young wine featured by a thin and venous perfume and a brilliant ruby red colour; with scents of cherry, red and fresh fruits and sometimes bitter almonds.
It’s a soft and pleasant taste and you’d better drink it young, even if it can stand also some years ageing.
Grapes (Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Corvinone) are vinificated after a short cold maceration in order to highlight its scents; it is quickly matured in bottle in order to complete its evolutionary step.
Pairings: it perfectly matches all the courses of Mediterranean cuisine, especially appetizers and first courses in general pasta, crespelle, lasagne and more over; suggested also with white meats.
Recommended service: at a temperature of 16°-18° C
Aging potential: to be preferably consumed young, although after a year or two it expresses greater softness.
