Description

The grapes from selected Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot vineyards embody unique peculiarities. Its complexity is enhanced by barrique aging. A wine with excellent body, structure and intensity, it perfectly expresses the typical characteristics of the Bordeaux blend, with the vibrant tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon and the light herbaceous hint of Cabernet Franc excellently tempered by the roundness and gentleness of Merlot. Barrique aging lends this wine a softness and excellent complexity, added to which are typical hints of ripe red fruit such as black cherry, black currant, blueberry, and plum, as well as an expansive and elegant bouquet, with hints of vanilla, cocoa, liquorice, and slightly toasted notes. It is a beautiful intense ruby red tending to garnet, and its nose is rich, complex and full. It is gentle and enveloping on the palate, with a delicate and barely perceptible buttery note, and fine and persistent finish.
