Pago los Balancines is not just a winery. It is a place, it is a vineyard, it is a way of thinking and doing things, a family blended with a land and -above all- it is the result of a very clear mission: to make great wines that reflect the place where they are born .

Our vineyard, completely organic, is bush-trained. This is how the inhabitants of the Mediterranean have been doing it for millennia. And it is a rainfed vineyard, because water is a scarce resource that we must all take care of. And because the vine never needed to be irrigated if the goal is to have grapes of exceptional quality.
It is also a very low yield vineyard, which means that we produce less than a quarter of what the regulations would allow us. But we are convinced that this way the grape is much more tasty. And if the grape is tasty, so is the wine.

Quality wines can only be made of quality grapes. Transforming those grapes into wine in the best way is the key to success. From the total conviction that only attention to detail achieves exceptional results, we work these grapes with care, delicately making the wines, separating each variety, each vineyard, each plot and each aspect in independent tanks. We use all our knowledge and great doses of enthusiasm to transform great grapes into great wines. All this careful work in the cellar allows us to reflect the essence of the place in our wines.
