Tenute Ferrari

TENUTE FERRARI was founded in 2000 and it is located in the heart of the Pollino, in the territories of Frascineto and Castrovillari, (province of Cosenza, north Calabria, Italy).
Its primary objective is the recovery and enhancement of the native vines located in the "Terre di Cosenza" which are still little known but so expressive; specifically, only under organic conditions, the black grape varieties Magliocco and Gaglioppo and the white grape varieties Greco bianco and Malvasia.
In 2016 were born the first three bottled wines with Protected Geographical Indication: the red "Granato" (100% Gaglioppo grapes), the rosé "Corallo" (100% Magliocco grapes) and the white "Diamante" (blend of Greco bianco and Malvasia), to establish a pact between quality, uniqueness and tradition of Pollino.
Its secret? Combining the secrets "of the past" inherited from father Michele with a pinch of innovation.
