From 1500 to 1809,the Mayne-Vieil property belonged to De Paty family who built important cellars during 17 th century and during the 18th ,built an elegant                               " Chartreuse " . Since 1918 CHATEAU MAYNE -VIEIL is owned by family SEZE .It is the 3rd generation !

One piece vineyards of 47 hectares : 32 Hectares in AOC FRONSAC and 15 Hectares in AOC FRONSAC on a clayey silt hill and flat planted with 70 % Merlot grapes 
and 30 % Cabernet Franc grapes;
Traditional bordelaise wine making by 2 to 3 weeks maceration in thermoregulated tanks .
