Viñedos y Bodegas Ribón is a vineyard situated in Quintanilla de Onésimo, Valladolid, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, and the so called “Milla de Oro” (Golden Mile). This company was founded in1995, based on 25 hectares of vineyard plantation divided into three plots with the names Carrantigua, Rinconada and el Disco, on the left bank of the River Duero.

The vineyard’s soil is sandy-clay with an abundance of limestone. These soil conditions, in combination with excellent orientation and the smooth undulating landscape, assure earlier than usual, ripening of the fruit for this area.

The vineyard’s installations are situated in the centre of Quintanilla de Onésimo, in a stately, large brick and stone building that dates from the beginning of the XX century. The family-owned character, prudence with regards to quantity, and a quality based criteria at the winery, are the distinguishing hallmarks of the vineyard.
