Spätburgunder - im Holzfass gereift -

7.65 EUR
0,75 l bottle(s)
Description
Spätburgunder is Germany’s most important red wine grape, accounting for 11.5 % of the total vineyard area and one third of total German red wine production. The grape has a clear following among wine-growers and consumers alike.

But this red wine diva needs much care and makes high demands on climate and soil. This grape variety can very well reflect the origin in the finished wine. In the vineyard Walsheimer Silberberg it finds the perfect conditions to develop a ruby red, full-bodied wine.

The sensual pleasure of this wine begins with the warmth of its color in the glass and ends with the soft tannins in mouth. In between you smell and taste notes of black cherry, blackberry and a hint of mocca in a very nice balance of volume and elegance.

Spätburgunder is legendary for its food compatibility. This one pairs very well with the Mediterranean cuisine, but also tastes good before and after.
