Clementi Gnirega is a family winery in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, and in our 13 hectares we create a small production of natural wines, in a very traditional Valpolicella’s winemaking way: Amarone, Ripasso, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Cà del Giovane IGT, and Loto, a sublime red Passito. All our wines feature the five native and classical grape varieties of Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and Oseleta. The quality of our wines is helped by the excellent location of our fields, on the hills at 300/400 mt a.s.l., where grapes grow and mature in an ideal setting: the soil, the sun, the gentle climate. We produce a small quantity of bottles of traditional Valpolicella wine every year. Our wine’s flavours and aromas are produced in very traditional methods and are refined in Slavonia oak barrels and barriques, to reach the right balance of flavours, preserving and exalting the intense full-bodied aromas of the fruits, herbs and spices of our land. Our production, of 30.000/35.000 bottles per year, follows the rules of the sustainable Grape and Wine Production Protocol (R.R.R. Certification) of Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella. Our winery is a member of Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti.
