Loess soil on a base of jurassic limestone
Hand picked with gentle berry grading on fruit days of the moon calendar with cool temperatures
Whole berries are pressed gently over a long period of time with little pressure. Spontaneous fermentation in INOX at 15 - 18°C.
2. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Unfinned, unfiltered, minimum amount of sulfites before bottling.
The 2019 Jurakalk appears in a bright yellow color. On the nose we have buttery, cold mineral notes. Aromas of meadowhay, greenages, lemongrass, and limestone round up this fragrant experience.
With its juiciness and minerality the distinctive terroir of the jurachalk shows its vital dynamic.
The toned minerality surrounds your tongue and the light acidity at the finish makes this wine unbelievable vivid.
