Grape variety: gaglioppo 100%.
Type of soil: calcareous, tending to sand.
Yeld per hectare: 12 t/ha (tons).
Production area: Calabria - Crotone’s ionic coast.
Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented at a controlled temperature with a pause of about 12 hours on the skins.
It follows the bottling in the early montsh of the year after harvesting.
Organoleptic analysis of wine
Colour: cristal pinkish colour.
Odor profile: penetrating flavours of black cherry and raspebbery.
Flavor: nicely dry and persistent.
